Why are there two charges on my account for the same order?Updated 15 days ago

What’s likely happening here is that when you placed your order, your bank first authorized the transaction — this is a common process where they temporarily hold the funds to approve the payment. Once the authorization is approved, the final amount is then processed and captured. While this doesn’t happen with every transaction, it really depends on your card issuer’s processing methods. Unfortunately, City Pop doesn’t have control over how these holds appear or clear on your account.

Because of this, it might look like there are two charges at first, but rest assured, you will only be charged once. The initial authorization hold will drop off, typically within a few business days, and only the final charge will remain.

If you don’t see the authorization fall off within the next few days or have any further questions, we recommend reaching out directly to your card issuer for more details.
